Big shoutout to Director Claris and School Counselor Jedidah for encouraging these girls to continue their studies and supporting them in the application process.
In the spirit of transparency, we have to fess up that in the past KGSA mostly celebrated girls who qualified for university and left some feeling undervalued. Yes, it’s great when a graduate gets accepted to university, but it’s equally great when a girl pursues a trade, especially ones that are dominated by males in Kenya. We are committed to providing scholarships for all future KGSA graduates who want to continue their studies after high school.
Join us in congratulating all 35 girls from the KGSA Class of 2023 who passed their national exams and the 23 above who are advancing their education to the next level. We can’t wait to see where their careers take them.
Special thanks to all our supporters and partners at Strathmore University and Global Gives Back Circle who together raised scholarship funds for these 23 girls to pursue their dreams. Thank you for being a part of the team that makes it all possible.
