The girls are back in town

KGSA is back in session! The girls and staff are elated to be back to school for Term Two. 

Because of your continued generous giving, here’s what you’ve helped the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy accomplish so far this academic year:

  • 148 girls are receiving a free, holistic high school education 
  • 100 girls sleep at the dormitory and receive three hot meals a day
  • 200 families in Kibera received food aid during the flooding national disaster
  • 6 classrooms, a computer lab and a science lab are currently under construction
  • 2 families impacted by the floods have a safe place to live
  • 1 Class of 2023 graduate started a Bachelor’s degree at Strathmore University
